Sachtler ace m slider recipe

You'll hear lot of different solutions from people about this since everybody likes their tripods to feel a little different.
After I bought my tripod, the only real systems within my budget were the Sacthler ACE and also the Manfrotto 503. I recently attempted each of them and that i loved the Sacthler better. Both since i loved the way it felt, and since it had been a far more respected brand.
I lately got an opportunity to try the 504 and I am really amazed at how good it socialized. The drag controls felt like they provided very fine adjustment of methods it moved, the locks all labored well, and also the felt very solidly built. One factor to notice, the 504 I attempted was under per month old at that time and my Ace is more than a year old. So can be how good the 504 holds up. Evaluating it to my Ace, I'd say it is a toss as that one I love more. You'll most likely be pleased with either originating from any cheaper tripod. Go most abundant in costly system you really can afford now, and it'll last through many cameras.

An easy tripod/mind such as the ACE IMO just is not likely to be optimum to carry a slider even the one which you pointed out that is only 3.2 lbs. A small tilt in the finish of the slide can ruin the shot. If you're dead focused on the Ace then obtain a brace of some kind to put underneath the ends. I've come across people make use of a second tripod or monopod. Some walking sticks are threaded underneath the finish cap and also have adjustable lengths.
