  • 1½ tablespoons of butter, divided

Lobster tails were on purchase in the grocer a week ago, so I needed to indulge. I happened across this quick easy recipe, as regardless of the purchase cost, I didn’t wish to ruin them. I place it underneath the oven broiler on high- many people have separate broilers.

It’s a great recipe, however i’m a sailor man and visited school there and kinda know lobster. Lobster isn't cooked. Live lobster is steamed for 5 minutes (or fewer). After they reach room temp, tails and commercial things just have a little bit of browning heat never cooking heat, since the grill temp is a good example. A lobster will not be chewey. An average creamy inside having a crispy outdoors is nice.
