Simple ngo hiong recipe box

If you're with limited funds and you need to possess a cheap yet satisfying meal choose Ngohiong. It has been my food since school days and so far. I've been travelling from places to places so when I return to Cebu, the very first food I eat and crave a lot may be the Ngohiong.

1/2 kl singkamas (jicama), stripped
3 tablespoons of ngohiong powder
2 tablespoons of 5 spice powder
1/2 kl ground pork
2 cloves garlic clove, chopped
1 small onion, chopped
season to taste with salt, pepper, honey and soy sauce
lumpia wrapper

batter after wrapping with lumpia wrapper:
* Mixed 2 cups corn starch, 5 tablespoons of paprika/white-colored pepper and 700 grms water

* Stir with fork to get rid of protuberances

1. Put some oil then saute garlic clove and onion. Place the pork and prepare until slightly brown.
2. Put singkamas, ngohiong powder, spice powder and season with salt, pepper, honey and soy sauce. Prepare for any minute.
3. Allow it to awesome.
4. After cooling, put 2 tablespoons of from the mixture inside a lumpia wrapper, then roll.
5. Perform the same procedure in most lumpia wrapper.
6. Deep within the batter mixture.
7. Deep-fry until golden brown.
8. Then serve with lorbak sauce

2 tablespoons of dark soy sauce
2 tablespoons of castor sugar
1/8 teaspoon Chinese five spice powder (ng heong fun)/ Ngo hiong hun
1/8 teaspoon salt
4-5 tablespoons of water
1/2 teaspoon corn flour or tapioca flour
1 egg white-colored, gently beaten

1. Combine all ingredients in a tiny saucepot.
2. Boil then turn the fireplace low and simmer for just two minutes.
3. Stirring from time to time until sauce turns smooth. Include egg white-colored and stir having a fork to create fine strands.
4. Put aside to awesome then use.
