2 cups wheat flour
1/2 kg fresh green spinach (washed)
2-3 teaspoon clarified butter or ghee
1 teaspoon ginger root paste
1 teaspoon eco-friendly chili paste
1 teaspoon cumin seed (crushed)
1/2 cup plain curd
Salt to taste
Oil for deep frying

Steps to make palak puri:


  • Blanch the green spinach leaves in boiling water.
  • Take away the green spinach leaves in the water making it right into a paste.
  • Mix the palak paste with wheat flour and add crushed cumin seeds, plain curd, ghee, ginger root- eco-friendly chilli paste and salt.
