Palak paneer by sanjeev kapoor khana khazana recipe

Ingredients


  • 4 cups Palak
  • 1 cup water
  • salt
  • 1 cup Paneer(cubes)
  • 2 tsps jeera
  • 3 sticks cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoons of butter
  • 1 big onion (sliced)
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tsps garlic clove(finely chopped)

Directions

  1. Wash palak, place it inside a pot,add salt and water, boil until just soft. Keep aside.
  2. Heat 1 tablespoons of butter inside a another pot, add jeera, garlic clove, cinnamon, eco-friendly chillies, and onions, braise till garlic clove and onions turn golden brown. Put this in grinder with steamed palak (dont discard water where the palak is steamed, technology-not only for grinding or cooking). Grind into smooth paste.
  3. Heat the rest of the butter inside a pot, add palak and paneer cubes, lessen the heat and prepare for 15 mins.
  4. Add milk, and prepare again for ten mins till thick.
  5. Garnish with onion rings and slitted eco-friendly chillies.
  6. Serve with jeera grain or parathas.
