Tap. Tap. Tap. Is anybody there?

I am sorry in my extended absence. Existence got snappy with Thanksgiving, visiting in-laws and regulations, obtaining the house ready for that holidays and festivities, my in-laws and regulations 45th anniversary not to mention, Christmas and New Years.

But it is a brand new year and I am to share much more of my personal favorite recipes along with you.

As guaranteed, today is Cinnamon Twosday. I really like Cinnamon! It is so festive and wealthy. Ideal for the holiday season and cold winter afternoons.

Place dough on gently floured surface.

Extend dough until 1/4-inch thick.

Dip a couple-inch round standard in flour, then eliminate circles of dough.

Put on a gently greased cookie sheet for six to eight minutes or until light golden brown round the edges.

As the cookies are baking, prepare the Cinnamon Sugar by mixing 1 cup of sugar with 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon.

Once the cookies are carried out baking, lightly take them off in the cookie sheet. Dip the cookies within the Cinnamon Sugar while still warm, ensuring each side are very well coated.

If you are likely to bake cookies, you may as well have tea!

Te de Canela (Cinnamon tea) is my personal favorite. It's comforting, soothing so when you sit lower to savor just one cup, all your worries and cares just be a waste.

Te de Canela can also be among the easiest teas to organize. For those who have a couple of cinnamon sticks within the kitchen, then you're minutes from enjoying this heavenly bag.
