Easy recipe for slime (also known as oobleck, or flubber!)
This is a quite simple recipe to create slime, a gooey substance that's fun to squeeze and have fun with it. It just requires two ingredients with this recipe: glue and regular laundry soap. You most likely curently have these in your home! You don't need any borax or corn starch like other recipes. You may also then add food coloring if you want, but there is no need.
You'll need:- Elmers glue (or any white-colored school glue)
- liquid laundry soap (any brand)
- a bowl
- a spoon or rubber spatula
Step One. Pour about 1/4 cup of glue right into a bowl
Use a calculating cup to determine it if you want, or just estimate it since exact measurements aren't necessary. Just have it close.
Step Two. Add about 1 Tablespoon of liquid laundry soap.
You should use any make of liquid detergent. We used a normal brand like the brand "Tide" laundry soap. You are able to measure it or simply estimate the quantity.
Step Three. Stir well
You may want to increase the liquid laundry soap whether it appears to become too sticky and is not slimey enough. Following a couple of minutes it will require around the nice oooey gooey texture of slime! The more you're employed it, the smoother and gooier it'll get. It'll last for a few days for proper care of it.
Make sure to have your parent's permission to create this, and have fun with it just in designated areas. Store it inside a zip lock baggie to make use of later.
