Perfect refills for Johnson Sonoma cook book!

By Monica on May 2, 2011

I have been searching for 5x7 pocket refill pages for some time how to fit a Johnson Sonoma cook book/journal. I acquired the great "Personalized Recipe & Entertaining Journal" a few years back as a present and like it, however it only included a couple of pocket pages. It's kind of a strange size (12"x11") that has made finding refills challenging. FINALLY, I've many can fill my cook book with all of my personal favorite recipes! These refill pages are fantastic quality and almost just like the original pages that included my cook book. They can fit 5x7 recipe cards as guaranteed and also the seams are solid.

The look is not right on Amazon . com or perhaps Gibson's own website for instance. The web pages are really 9.5" wide by 11.25" tall. The pre-punched holes are in standard increments. Where the holes will be to in which the pocket really starts, there's a coupleInch "spacer" portion of plastic that separates the binder holes in the pocket. The image does not really reveal that extra little bit of plastic. It has been the main reason finding replacements continues to be so difficult. It's not only a typical 8.5"x11" page. Should you put these inside a standard binder, the plastic would overlap the perimeters.

Anyway, if you're having the same problem I had been and requires refills for the Johnson Sonoma cook book/journal, Purchase These REFILLS! They're perfect.

Seller requires a better description

By jaxpeach on September 24, 2012

These aren't quite things i anticipated getting. Searching in the picture, they appear like the pages I'm looking to get much more of, which emerge from a large binder known as "The Household Recipe Collection Book" which i received as a present. These became larger than those that included my book. Please browse the review in which the reviewer gives dimensions, because the seller doesn't. The area in which the holes are is a lot wider (as indicated over a couple of other reviews). This managed to get stand out farther. Also, those that included my book fits cards on sides from the sleeve that one you are able to just use the leading side. These open quietly too, that we look for a little harder to make use of, so that as I turn the web pages of my book, them slide the side opening. I favor the very best opening within my originals.

Good for postcard storage

By LPE on May 2, 2011

I figured I'd review this in situation other people is attempting to complete things i was. I'd an accumulation of postcards that must be compiled within an album with the back and front from the cards visible. I figured a plastic insert will be a good solution, but battled for some time to obtain the correct product. Even though this is marked for "recipes," the pockets can clearly hold other cards which are as much as 5 x 7 in dimensions. I've purchased three of those refills to date and they've been ideal for the work. The plastic is powerful and durable. I'd no problems getting cards in or from the pockets. It appears to become a very good quality product.

Clearly, this could only work with standard size postcards or smaller sized, however it switched out that just a couple of from the ones within the collection were of bigger size, that we assume holds true for most of us with your collections.

These pages aren't of the sturdy quality. They're not going to support many.

By wanda aamoth on Feb 3, 2015

These pages aren't of the sturdy quality. They're not going to support many uses. They load in the center(close to the binder hinges), putting major force on the seam from the page despite the fact that there's a couple wide. 5 x 7 cards take time and effort to insert. Due to the fact the page is sealed two times within the center with approximately. one in space backward and forward pockets. I had been wishing the web pages will be a lot sturdier. Also my binder included wonderful pages which had a good divider in the centre to split up the 2 recipes placed in a single pocket. Sadly I am unable to locate them.

I've purchased these recipe binder sleeves many occasions. I'm pleased overall but due to the fact I've grown to simply accept them. I've got a "new seasons" cook book that does not provide enough sheets nor will they sell refills and so i had trouble looking for pocket sleeves that matched the initial in addition to fit good. These don't match exactly because my original sleeves were built with a slit around the tops. These open in the left side and therefore are really a little smaller sized so I must cut my recipes lower a little. Bear in mind though the picture with this product doesn't represent it perfectly. Should you consider the picture it appears as though there's NO space between your binder holes & the outlet, this really is misleading because actually there's about 1/3 inch space among that is unattractive and a total waste of space. I is constantly buy.

These refills are excellent!

By Lisa Schorr on August 11, 2009

They can fit the 5x7 cards perfectly, although if only there is an simpler method to carry the cards out, like perhaps a little eliminate on the top. I believe I possibly could most likely do this effortlessly with a few scissors. Great product otherwise.

Great recipe binder

Excellent recipe binder! I've had one for quite some time and so i was very happy to find a different one much like my old favorite To offer to my daughter who requested a magazine of Mama's recipes on her birthday. It's top quality, sturdy. and also the "full page" dimensions are so versatile with the ability to hold card pocket pages in addition to 8-1/2x11 pages for computer printouts.

Ideal for the "Make Your Own Collected Recipes" Cook book.

By eco bride on Feb 19, 2012

I got myself these refill pages for that Make Your Own Collected Recipes Cook book - Brown & Copper

These refill pages would be the perfect fit, and therefore are high quality. They hold 2 5x7 recipe cards per page. It's obvious plastic, too, that we love. The image on Amazon . com really does not show how nice these pages look.

Because the shipping is fairly costly, you need to certainly get two or three packs of those refills at one shot. If only I'd did that to begin with. )
