I attempted making the barfi, it had been good but the only issue was, I wasn't in a position to work as it wasn't hard as barfi.

Response: Thanks Gomathi for using the recipe. The barfi turns soft if it's not cooked enough in step-4. Whenever you do this recipe the next time, prepare it bit more time in step-4.

I've attempted this recipe however the mixture had switched brownish after adding condensed milk into it as well as in this recipe sugar doesn't dissolve? Available bought coconut burfi, we don't discover the whole sugar whenever we consume it. Help me to really make it as commercially made one.

Response: Hi Rihika, sorry to listen to that burfi didn’t come out well. Moisture from fresh coconut is sufficient to dissolve the sugar.
1.Sugar doesn't dissolve, if dry grated coconut can be used rather of fresh coconut or fresh coconut is squeezed out before using.
2.Mixture turns brownish, when the mixture is cooked over high flame or otherwise stirred continuously while cooking.
If sugar doesn’t dissolve, add tiny bit more milk and prepare more for couple of more minutes.

I attempted this recipe. It sampled well however the burfi would be a bit sticky. Would you please let me know where did I am going wrong?

Response: Hi Nousheen, the primary cause of the sticky burfi is extra moisture due to the milk. Prepare the mix until it turns thick and little dry in step-4. If needed, prepare it for bit more time duration (greater than a few minutes).
