
Huggi Gojju may be the recipe prepared during Navaratri and Sankranti.
This meals are treated because the favourite food of Lord Srinivasa. This recipe may be the tasty and spicy .
Here comes the technique and ingredients of the recipe.
Preparation Time: 15 mins
Cooking: half an hour
- 1 Cup Grain
- 1 Cup moong dal
- 2 Tablespoons of ghee
- Salt according to taste
- 2 Tablespoons of Fresh masala prepared ( ingredients of masala given below)
- 2Tbsp ghee
- 1/2 cup tamarind water
- three or four tablespoons of of grated Jaggery
- Salt according to taste
- 2 Tablespoons of fresh masala powder ( ingredients of masala given below)
Fresh masala for Huggi and gojju
- 1 Cup grated dry coconut
- 2 Tablespoons of jeera
- four to five pepper seeds
- 2 cinnamon sticks
- 2 cardamom
- two to four red dry chiili
- 1Tbsp ghee
- four to five Laung
- Fry the components of masala within the ghee and when cooled grind it into powder.
- Pressure prepare the grain and moong dal together inside a oven. (1 cup grain+ 1 cup moong dal+ 3 cup water)
- Have a pan on heater add ghee adding the new masala and fry after that it add some cooked grain moong dal into it.
- Add salt and little bit of water and prepare it for five to ten mins.
- Have a small vessel on heater add ghee once hot add some fresh masala into it
- Fry it after which add tamarind water, salt and Jaggery and boil it till it thickens
Serve hot both Huggi and gojju
