We actually loved this granola. It did not get crispy like commercially made granola, however it was excellent. Have no idea basically cooked it longer whether it would get crispier or otherwise. Have no idea it matters either. I added some sunflower seeds. Other dried fruit or nuts, or perhaps coconut would also make good additions. Thank you for discussing!

This really is scrumptious--although later on lower the baking temperature to prevent burning, and i'll get this to again! It will crisp up after it cools for any bit within the oven. the correct answer is addictive! Thank you for discussing!

This recipe interested me with the help of peanut butter! I sprayed a jelly roll pan with baking spray before adding the granola to bake. Studying the reviews about burning, I decreased the high temperature of my oven to 300 levels and permitted my granola to bake twenty minutes, stirring after 10, due to the edges browning too rapidly. Even at 300 levels, make sure to watch this carefully. Even if this comes with an excellent flavor as written, the next time to my very own taste, I'll add 1/2 cup of sunshine brown sugar towards the mix and possibly 1/2 cup slivered almonds. Thank you for this excellent recipe, Terri Newell!
