Barbecue ribs rub recipe oven

Barbecue ribs rub recipe oven
Ingredients
  • 2 racks baby back ribs
  • 6 tablespoons Emeril's Rustic Rub, recipe follows
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon freshly ground pepper
  • 1 teaspoon celery salt
  • Emeril's Bam B Q Sweet Original Barbecue Sauce
  • Rustic Rub:
  • 8 tablespoons paprika
  • 3 tablespoons cayenne
  • 5 tablespoons freshly ground pepper
  • 6 tablespoons garlic clove powder
  • 3 tablespoons onion powder
  • 6 tablespoons salt
  • 2 1/two tablespoons dried oregano
  • 2 1/two tablespoons dried thyme
Directions

Preheat the oven to 300 levels F and line a sizable baking sheet with a bit of aluminum foil big enough to pay for the pan two times (you'll be folding this within the ribs and sealing.)

Put the ribs around the prepared baking sheet in 1 layer. In a tiny bowl, combine the Rib Rub, salt, pepper, and celery salt and stir to mix. Divide the seasoning evenly among both slabs of ribs, coating well on sides. Fold the edges from the foil within the ribs and seal tightly on every side. Put the ribs within the oven and bake, undisturbed, for just two 1/two to three hrs, or until ribs are extremely tender.

Take away the ribs in the oven and peel back the foil so the ribs are uncovered. Utilizing a pastry brush or the rear of a spoon, coat the racks gently around the meaty sides with barbecue sauce. Go back to the oven until sauce is thickened and gently browned, about twenty minutes longer. Take away the ribs in the oven and hang aside to awesome briefly before cutting between your ribs and serving. Serve with increased barbecue sauce, if preferred.
