- This fruity little number is definitely a large hit within my house. You can vary the fruit to complement the growing season.
- Preheat your oven to 180C/350F/gas 4. Whiz the flour, butter and 75g from the sugar together inside a mixer and tip right into a bowl. Rub the oatmeal in to the mix together with your fingers and hang aside.
- Chop the kiwis and plums into chunks and add in a bowl using the stem ginger root, remaining sugar and vanilla seeds.
- Spoon right into a large ovenproof dish, cover with slices of apple and heap the crumble topping on the top. Bake within the oven for around forty-five minutes, until cooked through and golden brown on the top. Serve with cream or crme frache, if you want.
