Upma or Pidi Kozhukattai, spicy dumplings produced from idli rava(cream of grain). Information on the recipe reaches:

Ingredients:
1 cup idli rava or cream of grain gently roasted
1/4 cup toor dal
1 tablespoon channa dal
1 tablespoon urad dal
2 tablespoon oil
1/2 teaspoon mustard seeds
1 teaspoon urad dal
a pinch of asafoetida
2 small chopped eco-friendly chilis in order to taste
a couple of curry leaves
1/4 cup shredded coconut
2 cups water

Preparation: Rinse and soak toor dal, channa dal and urad dal for 1-to-1 1/2 hrs before grinding. After one hour grind the dals with hardly any water to some coarse paste.

Heat 2 tablespoon of oil. Into it add mustard seeds and urad dal. Once the mustard seeds pop add some chopped eco-friendly chili, curry leaves, asafoetida and saute for couple of seconds add water cover and allow the water arrived at a boil. Once the water originates to some boil add some grated coconut and also the ground dal and prepare for around three or four minutes then add some gently roasted idli rava or cream of grain. Stir and prepare before the mixture pulls from the side from the pan and forms full of within the center. Cover and permit the mass to awesome. After it's awesome make small oblong formed dumplings as proven within the video (as needed gently grease your palms after some oil) and steam the kozukattai for as many as 4 minutes inside a microwaveable steamer, among the cooking turn the kozukattai over once to prepare on the other hand.
