
I had been making Chicken Pot Stickers for supper and made the decision to saut some sugar snap peas by having an Asian flavored sauce for any side dish. This dish was very simple to make also it only required minutes to organize. My boy wasn’t a large fan (he prefers his raw) but my hubby, daughter and that i loved them.
Asian Sugar Snap Peas:Recipe and photos by For that Passion for Cooking.internet- 2 glasses of sugar snap peas, ends trimmed
- Essential olive oil cooking spray
- 2 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 1 tablespoons of grain wine vinegar
- 1-2 teaspoon water
- 1 teaspoon brown sugar
- 1 clove of garlic clove, minced
- 1/2 1 teaspoon sesame oil
- Toasted sesame seeds
Whisk together the soy sauce, grain wine vinegar, water, brown sugar, minced garlic clove, and sesame oil until well blended. Taste and add extra sugar or oil if preferred.
Heat a skillet that's been coated with essential olive oil cooking spray over medium heat. Add some trimmed sugar snap peas towards the skillet and saut for just two-3 minutes until they're tender but nonetheless a little crisp.
Chuck the ball sugar snap peas using the sauce until evenly coated then sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds. Serve immediately. Enjoy.
