Loved these a lot. The fumes were killer, in oh a lot of ways, however i loved the smell. The main one video appears like it had become obtainable in multiple colors in one tube. From the purchasing a carded three pack of various colors. Needed to squeeze them out individually. We never spread them within our hands, but applied them around and also over a rotating straw.

I'm believing that this or perhaps a much the same product was available in early to mid 1950’s. In those days I will be a child(born 1947). Can’t think it might have interested me like a college graduate. My buddies who're now as much as age 75 keep in mind having fun with it. They include individuals who were U.S. born and something who spent his childhood in Korea. I only remember single color bubbles (blue or red) and it was unable to result in the bubbles as large as within the photos I see published.

Amy, you're correct. I recall having fun with these items within the 50’s and acquired it in a 5 cent store for approximately twenty-five cents a tube. Unsure exactly what the name was however it would be a fad in early 50’s &... not the 70’s as many people claim!

Am a designer, and it was painting a teal eco-friendly, along with a couple of years ago were built with a flashback relating to this toy in the 60s. Recall the goo as being a dark, inky eco-friendly (like my paint) that you simply put on the finish of the straw, and yeah, getting acetone inside it the stuff stank! Kinda had the consistency of liquid cement. Whatever the ick or simply plain TOXIC factor, these items would be a hit within the hood within the Bronx circa 1960s. Might imagine you’d get high from inhaling!

I recall buying about 100 tubes of the and relaxing in my small windowless bathroom at nighttime and opening every tube at the same time. Someone stated the fumes may kill my cognitive abilities however i never felt any&....mzzzblllbloberspizznic&...
