Jowar roti and sabzi recipe

Jowar Roti is made of the jowar or jawari flour. To make it more tasty we've just added onion, chillies and couple of flavors. This roti is very healthy to consume and also the best factor is it goes perfectly together with any kind of sabji recipe and raita. The plain yogurt could be a great accompaniment with this particular dish.

Ingredients:

  • 1 cup jowar flour (juar, jawari)
  • 1 onion thinly chopped
  • 2 eco-friendly chillies chopped
  • Couple of coriander leaves chopped
  • Salt to taste
  • Vegetable oil
  • Water to knead
  1. Combine the flour, salt, eco-friendly chillies, onion, chopped coriander and 1 teaspoon vegetable oil.
  2. Mix correctly and knead by progressively adding little-little quantity of water.
  3. Knead before the dough becomes soft, smooth and manageable.
  4. Heat the griddle and drizzle some oil.
  5. Have a clean plastic sheet or bag and spread some dry flour onto it.
  6. Apply bit of oil inside your palms and have a part of dough.
  7. Carefully put it around the plastic bag and flatten together with your palms for rotating until become round.
  8. It ought to be medium thick to create proper roti.
  9. Put it around the hot griddle and then leave to prepare on low flame.
  10. Apply oil if needed, switch and prepare from sleep issues too.
  11. Apply little quantity of oil from both sides and prepare until it might be crispy with gently liver spots.
  12. Serve hot with any veg recipe for example dal, paneer, sai bhaji, etc.
  13. You can also serve this low cholesterol dodo with butter milk or veg raita.

Chef Tips:

  1. This specific roti is lower in calories and cholesterol free, you could have this with fresh yogurt too.
  2. If you're not calorie conscious, you'll be able to allow it to be more tasty by distributing butter on top and sprinkle some chaat masala.
  3. Serve this roti immediately, else it become tasteless and difficult to consume.
