Today I’m discussing my ultimate DIY brush cleaner and providing a refresher lesson on proper brush care and cleaning!

My Ultimate Brush Cleaner
- Fundamental dish soap (to disinfect and clean)

- Nick clips
- Brush pads
- Pour the dish soap to the plate – you don’t need an excessive amount of

Storing and Drying Your Brushes
Important Note: Don't let your brushes dry standing using the bristles facing upwards – this can ruin them. Water will drip lower the bristles in to the brush and release the glue holding the hairs together. Eventually, the hairs will drop out and also the handle is going to be destroyed too.
Hang dry your brushes upside lower the next way:
- Go ahead and take appropriate brush guard for that brush you're dealing with – beginning in the finish from the handle, slide the guard on within the finish from the brush completely towards the bristles till it covers the comb hair completely.
- Bring your nick clip (any snack storing clip having a clamp) and clip it within the base wire of the coat hanger (make certain any paper is taken away in the hanger before this step) – you would like the nick clips to hold in the hanger.

A Few Notes on Brush Pads:

- To wash your brush pads, use hot soapy water – allow them to sit inside a bowl with hot soapy water for around a few minutes, remove and rinse.
- Foundation brushes: daily or after each use – fluids will trap more bacteria than powder and have to be cleaned more often
- Powder/Eyeshadow brushes: after each new color
- Eye liner brushes: daily together with your foundation brushes – anything moving in your skills must be clean to avoid infection.
