Directions

  1. Inside a large bowl stir together flour, sugar, yeast, vanilla (if preferred), and salt add milk, eggs, and oil. Beat by having an electric mixer until completely combined. Cover batter loosely and chill overnight or as much as 24 hrs.
  2. Stir batter. Pour about 3/4 cup batter onto grids of the preheated, gently greased waffle baker. Close lid rapidly don't open until done. Bake based on manufacturers directions. When done, make use of a fork to lift waffle off grid. Repeat with remaining batter. Serve warm. Discard any remaining batter. Makes about 16 (4-inch) waffles.
