Certainly one of that's getting my closet neat and organized..Because at this time it appears as though chaos..Will update after i am completed with it..So returning to todays recipe.


A viewer of mine named Yuvana requested this recipe..I have not learned about this name untill she requested this..I figured to try it out on her..However I should certainly thank her for requesting this recipe since it would be a total hit..So many thanks Yuvana. This can be a sweet and spicy fried snack recipe that is perfect with a mug of chai..This can be a maharashtra dish..Here you want to the step-by-step recipe with pictures.

Ingrediants:

For Dough:
All-purpose Flour / Maida-1 cup
Gram flour / Kadalai Mavu / Besan-3/4 cup
Chilli powder-1 teaspoon
Coriander powder / Malli podi- 1 teaspoon
Oil-1 tblspn
Salt to taste
Water when needed

For Stuffing:

Desiccated Coconut / Koparai -1 cup
Sesame seeds / Ellu ¼ cup
Ginger root -1 teaspoon minced
Coriander powder / Malli Podi-1 teaspoon
Chilli Powder-1 teaspoon
Turmeric powder / Manjal podi-1 teaspoon
Cumin powder / Jeerakam-1 teaspoon
Poppy seeds / Kasa Kasa / Khuskhus / Posto-1 tblspn
Eco-friendly Chilli-1 minced
Asafoetida ¼ teaspoon
Sugar-1 teaspoon
Salt to taste

Method:

Take all ingrediants for dough inside a mixing bowl except water..Rub everything together with your hands.

Pour in water making right into a soft dough..Apply some oil on the top and get forced out for half an hour.

Now make stuffing by dry roasting coconut, poppy seeds, sesame seeds till it will get nice aroma and colour.

Turn off the flame and include turmeric, chilli, coriander, cumin powder and blend well.

Include salt, sugar, chillies, ginger root and a few asafoetida and blend well.

Remove this inside a bowl and let it awesome lower.

Now go ahead and take dough and divide into equal portions.Mean time divide the filling into equal portions.

Take one dough and roll into thin circle..Rub water outrageous generously.

Take enough filling and spread on the top..Press together with your hands firmly so the filling stays with the dough.

Now start moving in one side..Roll firmly and tightly.

Now reduce equal portions and hang aside.

Heat oil to some medium heat. Please don’t fry this in high temperature.

Drop this bakarwadi within the oil and fry on the low flame till golden brown.It will require around 10-15 mins.

Remove and drain inside a paper towel.

Serve hot with chai or keep cooled bakarwadis inside a airtight container.
