Ingredients:
125g (4.5oz) self raising flour
pinch of salt

25g (1oz) caster sugar
2 eggs
100ml (4floz) milk
25g (1oz) melted butter

    Sift the flour and salt right into a bowl, stir within the sugar making a well within the center, pour the eggs in and add a bit of the milk. Begin to beat and progressively increase the milk til you have an even batter that drops unwillingly from the spoon. Stir within the melted butter.
