Bhuni moong ki daal recipe

Ingredients

  • 2 cups drenched moong dal
  • salt when needed
  • two tablespoons red chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon haldi powder
  • 1 teaspoon toasted cumin
  • 1/2 teaspoon carom seeds
  • two tablespoons water
  • vegetable oil for frying

Directions

  1. Grind drenched moong dal inside a mixture grinder. Pour it inside a bowl, add salt, red chili and haldi powders. Mix well.
  2. Now add cumin and carom seeds. Mix and add little water if needed. This mix ought to be little thick.
  3. Heat an in-depth fry pan with oil, and meanwhile, make small balls of the mixture.
  4. Deep fry the balls in herbal.
  5. Serve with pudina chutney.
