Rava upma recipe kerala style mutton
  • Roast Rava / Sooji inside a pan without adding oil in medium flame till it become slightly brown colored. ( Note. If you're buying roasted Rava / Sooji in the grocery shop, you'll be able to skip this task. )
  • Heat oil inside a pan, add mustard seeds. Once the mustard seeds crackle add dry red chillies ( 2 Nos ) and curry leaves. Adding Urad Dal and fry till it might be light brown colored.
  • After which add chopped onions. chopped ginger root. chopped garlic clove and chopped eco-friendly chillies. Saute it till onions become soft. Adding chopped vegetables. And fry it for an additional 5-ten minutes.
  • Adding 1 cup of warm water together with salt and turmeric powder and produce it to some boil.
  • Then lower the flame and add Rava / Sooji and immediately mix it nicely to prevent the development of protuberances. Continue stirring for nearly one minute or until just about all water is absorbed through the Rava / Sooji. After which remove in the flame.
  • Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, fried cashew nuts and fried raisins. ( This task is optional )
