I believe the initial idea of Le Nakamura was said to be Japanese/French fusion, but actually, it is simply an excellent Japanese restaurant and often they plate food inside a not-so-traditional fashion. I believe the chef or owner might have been French-trained, however i can't say without a doubt.

Unagi box set with sashimi and california rolls.

Calamari. well, stir fried squid within this situation.

Some kind of sushi combo.

My all-time favourite food on the planet. a minumum of one of these (my favourites are prime rib, foie gras, and uni). The uni from Le Nakamura was pretty fresh and also the portions were pretty healthy in dimensions. I had been quite satisfied.

The sushi here's very good, coupled with the nod of approval from a set of tenth dan sensei from Japan.

We were able to organize an evening meal for around 40 people at Le Nakamura, and incredibly last second might I add. It was on father's day, but in some way, employees could accomodate our fairly large group. The Canadian Iaido Association located the annual seminar in Vancouver that year so we known as on Le Nakamura for hosting our club dinners. Our original number was 20, it altered to 30, it altered to more than 40. Employees were incredibly friendly and accomodating, and incredibly well-organized. Our sensei from Japan were also quite happy with the caliber of the meals.

Peter I had been produced in Canada around 3 decades ago coupled with a comparatively normal childhood. My parents are initially from China, but needed to flee to Taiwan because Uncle Chiang and Uncle Mao did not get on. I have labored a number of jobs including five years retail, ten years having a major Canadian air travel, in regards to a year in manufacturing (wood products), along with a couple of several weeks like a freight forwarder. I presently have two jobs that i'm very, happy with. My interests include running, biking, weight lifting, studying, collecting man-crap, anime and manga, cars, firearms, and fighting techinques. I have dabbled in a number of fighting techinques including Judo, Tae Kwon Do, mixed-fighting techinques fighting techniques (before it got the flamboyant name MMA), Wushu, and many lately, Iaido. I have studied Wushu for more than ten years (but still suck). During the last 5 years, I have been students of Muso Jikiden Eishin Ryu Iaido under Inoue Sensei. Iaido is becoming an obsession for me personally. Also, during the last 3 years, I have been studying Sado or Chanoyu, the clear way of tea, generally referred to as Japanese Tea Ceremony.
