Not a chance. hated it. Why can you call these oatmeal bars whenever you hardly taste the oatmeal. And That I agree you've reached love molasses to love these bars. I'd feed these to the dogs, however i put some choc chips inside them, and dogs aren't designed to eat chocolate. I don't think they'd eat them, without chocolate. Don't waste your time and effort with this particular recipe. Bob C. 2011-01-16T02:47:17Z item not reviewed by moderator and printed
I made these oatmeal bars despite the fact that my loved ones thought they'd nothing like them, as it happens they loved them. I didn't have choc chips and so i substituted cinnamon chips, I left the raisins out. I cut the molasses lower to at least oneOr4cup and used 1/4 cup corn syrup too. This recipe is excellent. The next time I'll use choc chips simply to switch up. Paige MO angelonfyre 2010-03-18T21:10:02Z item not reviewed by moderator and printed
I wasn't ready for how overbearing the molasses is within these bars. I normally love molasses cookies, but for whatever reason there is something off within this recipe. These were very moist, easy to make, but regrettably the taste was off. Angela A. 2009-11-24T22:34:33Z item not reviewed by moderator and printed

These were Super easy to create. I additionally added a few (about 1/4 cup) of milk choc chips, which makes it ideal for the chocolate enthusiasts. Great to create like a quick snack in order to give as a present. Patti M. 2008-10-12T15:41:30Z item not reviewed by moderator and printed

It's not necessarily a bad recipe, however it's No oatmeal bar - with the flavor and colour of molasses - it's a molasses bar cookie that you simply throw just a little oatmeal into. After I chose to make this I needed an oatmeal bar cookie, and so i was disappointed. Fortunately, my hubby loved them. MARI S. 2006-08-26T16:59:06Z item not reviewed by moderator and printed
