Ahhhhh, Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls. Each year around October my loved ones starts requesting these and that i start craving them. I’ve been making these for that Holidays since my children were little plus they’re always an audience pleaser. I’ve even given them as gifts (in cute boxes much like these ), since these are extremely worth gifting giving. Just insert them in an ornamental tin and you've got something chocolate peanut butter enthusiasts will like you for.

Through the years I've attempted and tested a wide variety of variations of Chocolate Peanut Butter Balls recipes and each time I finish up returning to that one.

  1. Mix the peanut butter, salted butter and vanilla together inside a large bowl.
  2. Once they are very well mixed together, include the powdered sugar, just a little at any given time. You may want to add a little more or a little less powered sugar. You've enough powered sugar once the mixture holds together well in a single giant ball inside your mixing bowl.
  3. Cover and let sit within the refrigerator for 15 - 25 minutes until they set. (You may also cover tightly and refrigerate for approximately a couple of days.)
  4. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls.Cover and refrigerate again, for around fifteen to twenty minutes. Skipping this task helps make the dough very difficult to use the chocolate.
  5. Melt the chocolate based on the package directions.
  6. Dip the peanut butter balls individually in to the melted chocolate. Allow the excess chocolate drip off, because the chocolate will pool just a little whenever you place it lower. Put the dipped peanut butter chocolate ball onto wax paper and allow it to harden.
  7. Chill until prepared to serve. Also chill them just a little before packaging them up for gifts.
  1. The peanut butter ball dough could be stored, tightly sealed, within the refrigerator for approximately a couple of days before dipping in chocolate.
  2. When the dough becomes too soft anytime while dealing with it, restore it in to the refrigerator.
