Easy sambhar by vah chef ras malai recipe

This tasty and simple Sambar is really a dish in South Indian and Sri Lankan Tamil cuisines, made from toor dal and veggies,sambar masala. A variant of sambar known as pappuchaaru is much more common in Andhra Pradesh.

Ingredients

  • → Red chilly powder two tablespoons.
  • → Fenugreek seeds 1/4 Teaspoons.
  • → Hing 1 Pinch.
  • → Cumin seeds 1 Teaspoons.
  • → Mustard seeds 1 Teaspoons.
  • → Red chilly 4 Figures.
  • → Turmeric 1/4 Teaspoons.
  • → Oil two tablespoons.
  • → Salt To Taste.
  • → Onions 1 Figures.
  • → Onion shallot 10 Figures.
  • → Curry leaves 6 Figures.
  • → Carrot 2 Figures.
  • → Bottle guard 8 Piece.
  • → Egg plant 2 Figures.
  • → Drum sticks 1 Figures.
  • → Garlic clove 4 Figures.
  • → Tamarind juice 1 Cup.
  • → Tomato 3 Figures.
  • → Jaggery 1 Tablespoons.
  • → Coconut milk 1/2 Cup.
  • → Sambhar powder two tablespoons.

Directions

1. Boil the tuvar dal inside a pressure oven until dal is soft. Heat oil inside a pan add red chilly, mustard seeds, cumin seeds, fenugreek seeds, turmeric, red hilly powder, hing, garlic clove pieces, and add drum sticks, egg plant, bottle guard, carrot, curry leaves, onions, onion shallots, saut this and add tomato plants, tamarind juice, sambhar powder, jaggery, coconut milk, salt, add water place the lid on up until the vegetables are tender.

2. Add steamed and mashed dal and put the lid and prepare for fifteen minutes inside a slow flame.
3. Add coriander leaves, turn off the flame, and serve this with grain
