Preheat oven to 190C / 375F / Gas 5. Cream sugar and butter. Sift flour and cacao powder together and increase butter mixture. Mix well.
Using floured hands, roll quite small quantities of mixture into approximately 36 balls.
Place well apart (to match distributing) on the lined baking sheet and squash slightly to create a squat flat circle. Bake for 8 minutes.
Leave to awesome in tin for five minutes, then put on a cooling rack.
