
I'll have to do this. Chess cake is our 3 sons favorite cake. A couple of them possess a strange preference about chess pies though: they like them after i goof plus they come out runny. However they do appear to continually consume the firm ones too!
Is that this just like pecan cake with no pecans? I have not heard about Chess Cake but that's exactly what the picture appears like in my experience.
No Michelle, it's similar, but Chess Cake is among the earliest of Southern traditional desserts. The pecan cake has syrup which cake doesn't. If you want pecan cake I believe you need this. We do hope you enjoy!
