Brisket dry rub recipe ingredients
Ingredients
  • 1 (4-pound) beef brisket, trimmed
  • two tablespoons brownish sugar
  • two tablespoons chili powder
  • two tablespoons paprika
  • two tablespoons salt
  • 1 tablespoon garlic clove powder
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon cayenne
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons ground cumin
  • Mesquite wood chips
  • Barbecue Sauce, recipe follows
  • Barbecue Sauce:
  • two tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup chopped yellow onions
  • two tablespoons chopped garlic clove
  • 4 cups ketchup
  • 1/2 cup brownish sugar
  • two tablespoons cane syrup
  • 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar treatment
  • 1/2 cup yellow mustard
  • 1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
  • 3 tablespoons hot red pepper sauce
  • 2 teaspoons Essence, recipe follows
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes, or even more to taste
  • Essence (Emeril's Creole Seasoning):
  • 2 1/two tablespoons paprika
  • two tablespoons salt
  • two tablespoons garlic clove powder
  • 1 tablespoon pepper
  • 1 tablespoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon red pepper cayenne
  • 1 tablespoon dried leaf oregano
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
Directions

Set the brisket on the large sheet of plastic wrap. Inside a medium bowl combine the brownish sugar. chili power, paprika. salt, garlic clove powder, onion powder, pepper, cayenne, dry mustard, and cumin completely. Rub the mix to the brisket and wrap tightly within the plastic wrap. Put on a baking sheet and let marinate refrigerated a minimum of 6 hrs or overnight. Take away the meat in the refrigerator and let arrived at 70 degrees.
