Great taste, very wealthy caramel flavor. Only negative, I wouldn't refer to it as a buttercream frosting, it's much more of a thick creamy icing, it's not an easy fluffy pipeable cream, to accomplish this the next time I'll make the beginning of a fundamental buttercream and whip within the butter/sugar also known as caramel when i saw inside a couple of other recipes. Recipe was simple to follow and outcome was just as expected per the instructions, I iced a sheet pan of brownies after which rapidly sprinkled coarse ocean salt and small choc chips on the top and also the result would be a sweet, salty, caramel/chocolate dream. I designed a G.F. yellow cake from the mix in my wife's b-day but wanted it to possess something special since she makes her cakes on your own. This frosting was just what it needed. Simple to make and super scrumptious! Thank you for an excellent recipe!
