Kees Bubberman enjoys making beers which are a bit different. The previous brewmaster from the Emelisse brewery, he left to begin their own brewery at the start of 2015.

He describes themself like a ‘creative’, always searching to create a brand new recipe, making something enjoyable. So it is no wonder that his double IPA has something extra.

The Double Rye IPA flows a hazy dark orange, having a thin mind. The hop assault is operated by generous additions of Citra, Simcoe and Cascade, producing a welcoming aroma.

The rye supplies a nice spiciness balancing tropical and lemon or lime sweetness. For any big beer, your body is very light having a constant bitterness holding through and in to the aftertaste.
