Utan bisaya with gata recipe armenian

Thanks for visiting my first article with this blog that is about FOOD! Incidentally, guys, I had been already given a project by my lady to talk about topics about food and cooking (maybe she sees Erwan Heussaff within me). I am not a chef, but I understand how to prepare and that i do experiment/improve dishes. I’d prefer to think that it runs in the household. The majority of my uncles and aunts are extremely good cooks! Okay, a lot for that introduction&...

Our featured recipe for this information is known as LAW-OY (vegetable stew) that is very famous in Mindanao along with other areas of Visayas (in Cebu, they refer to it as utan bisaya but there's a real difference mainly in the taste). Pointless to state, vegetables truly are among the best causes of vitamins, minerals, and disease-fighting phytochemicals you'll find, which will make them excellent food cures.

So, let’s start cooking.

You'll need the next:

10 glasses of water

3 glasses of squash, sliced

6 computers okra, sliced diagonally

2 computers eggplants, sliced diagonally or quartered

1 cup of eco-friendly ganas leaves (or use any eco-friendly leafy vegetables like malungay or pechay)

1 cup of Malabar Night Shade (alugbati )

1 cup of string beans (batong ), quartered

2 tomato plants, sliced

2 computers peppers, sliced

Seasoning or use Magic Sarap

4-5 computers associated with a fried fish (preferably yellow fin)

  1. Inside a casserole, put the water, tomato plants, onions, and peppers. Provide boil.
  2. Add some squash and allow it to boil for five minutes or before the squash is cooked.
  3. Add some okra, eggplant, and string beans and allow it to boil for an additional 3 minutes. Reduce fire.
  4. Add fried fish and allow it to simmer inside a low heat for five minutes.
  5. Season the stew with Magic Sarap and salt.
  6. Toss ganas, alugbati, or any leafy vegetables.
  7. Serve hot =)

This is a brand new family favorite! Enjoy =)
