Rava Appam is really a scrumptious snack that you could alllow for Karthigai Deepam that is in a few days,I've already published neiappam and wheat flour appam so considered posting Rava Appam this season.I loved causeing this to be and eating it too, it had been quite addictive which i could not resist myself up until the shoot was over.

Fine Rava - 1/2 cup
Wheat Flour - 1/4 cup
Maida - 1/4 cup
Sugar - 1/4 cup + 2 tablespoons of
Coconut - 2 tablespoons of grated
Cardamom powder - 1/4 teaspoon
Cooking soda - 1/8 teaspoon
Salt - a small pinch
Water - when needed
Oil - to deep fry

My Notes:

  • I made small appams to slot in my kadai.
  • Adding wheat flour is optional.You can include maida rather.
  • After adding sodium bicarbonate,don't let it rest.Result in the appams at the same time.
  • If you wish to cut lower oil,make it in paniyaram pan.
