Chose to make this today. I'd seven smaller sized peaches, but adopted the recipe as written. I must agree with the oven time. Mine ended at 18 minutes. Next time I'll use it the underside rack from the oven, because topping would be a bit more dark than I loved, however the cobbler really was good.
My husband's request peach cobbler am random which i thought he was joking. until he stored asking me to really make it. There is always something which trumped me selecting cobbler at dessert time so, Irrrve never even sampled it before. not to mention really allow it to be, either. This recipe was simple, and that i loved it! Still, not my personal favorite dessert, however it did taste great! However, I am about simplicity when cooking and so i used 2 cans (29 oz each) of peaches, and that i used 1/2 cup white-colored sugar within the filling (rather of just oneOr4 cup white-colored suagr). Anything else I stored exactly the same. Our 11 month old loved it. but he loves everything! I did not understand what taste to anticipate, but my hubby cleaned his plate! So, I suppose this deserves 5 stars! Whether it helps any, the very first bite helped me consider baked apples and also the topping helped me consider cinnamon streusels.
It was excellent. I made use of 7 peaches because which was things i had. I steamed the peaches for one minute before peeling which made peeling super easy. The only real changes I made were using hot milk rather of boiling water and adding ginger root towards the topping and also the peach filling. My hubby loved it and that i could not get enough!
Thank you for an excellent recipe!
