2 days back, I launched into my first trial of Roasted Pork.
Yes, I am an enormous fan of the Chinese delicacy, especially because the skin is 'oh-so-crunchy'!
Since it'll usually take eons having a a stove, approximately I have read, I am more than pleased to understand that my Happy Call Pan can prepare this inside a MUCH SHORTER TIME!
I am so deeply in love with my Happy Call Pan that I have really dedicated additional time to cooking as it is my method of relieving stress.
I spent about $8 for 4 slabs of pork bellies + $2 for that 5 spice powder (enough supply for a lot of many occasions of roasted pork!)
This dish takes half an hour to organize, a minimum of an hour or so to marinate and half an hour to prepare.
It isn't that hard to prepare this dish in order to get it ready however i guess it will try taking some skill and exercise to master this dish.
Roasted Pork Recipe
4 slabs of pork belly (I acquired mine from NTUC and Shop and Save)
However, if time permits, have it in the wet market butcher as possible a bigger slab of meat. They were too skinny and that i had trouble balancing them onto the skin! My second batch were created having a bigger slab of meat I'd the NTUC butcher chop for me personally (: More pricey though!
3 tablespoons of of 5 spice powder
2 tablespoons of of white-colored pepper
