I rarely write reviews - and also have never written an adverse one - however this sauce is nasty. The soy sauce overpowers everything. I attempted and attempted to physician up, however it still was gross. It might test better when cooked, however with how awful it had been, I made the decision I wasn't likely to risk using it the ribs and ruining them. I simply returned to presenting my standard homemade bbq sauce. Disappointed it had not been better. -(
I saved this and printed it this past year making it yesterday for company. this is actually the best crockpot ribs i've attempted so we all enjoyed it. offered it with boston beans and scallop taters, thank you for a simple recipe, can make it can. the sauce wasn't too sour and it was mild. rj
They were good. I made use of the nation spare ribs plus they were fork tender. The sauce would be a mild sauce the way It's my job to enjoy it. I am sure they'll even taste better the following day once they had an opportunity to meld with sauce. I'll most likely make these again.
