When individuals have parties plus they ask individuals to bring a dish, It's my job to bring something sweet because that’s what I enjoy make and that i rarely stuff them up . It's my job to bring a chocolate pavlova or perhaps a batch of chocolate muffins.
This cabbage and crunchy noodle salad is a I’ve seen in a couple of parties through the years, but thought the mixture was odd so always moved to the next salad. After hearing my mother rave relating to this recipe that they attempted inside my sister’s engagement party she managed to get one evening and introduced it to the house for supper. I've a word: winning!
We'd it with pork belly also it was the right match. It’s my new favourite side dish.
Dressing
1/4 cup white-colored vinegar
1/4 cup caster sugar
1 tablespoon soy sauce
2 teaspoons sesame oil
1/2 cup essential olive oil
Method
Mix all the dressing ingredients in a tiny saucepan. Stir over low heat before the sugar dissolves. Put aside until cooled
Combine the cabbage, chopped shallots, noodles and almonds inside a salad bowl. Top with dressing and blend well. Serve immediately.
Should you’re using this to some party then leave the noodles separate until right before serving. This serves 8 and it is great with pork or chicken, or onto it’s own.
