After I got engaged, inside my bridal shower we offered this salad and everybody loved it. Then i began which makes it in my friend's bridal showers. It's a great hit and it has an excellent taste. Certainly not the same as the typical salads. It's my job to chop up all of the vegetables the night time before so at the time from the party all I must do is mix things up. Ideal for an audience.
Scrumptious and various! I made the salad using chicken also it was enjoyed by everybody! The sweet and sour/French dressing combo is going to be finding its distance to a number of my other salads too. Thank you for discussing Caryn!
I wrapped the salad in butter lettuce leafs and ate it as being a lettuce wrap. It had been ok, I'm not sure basically will make it can.
My hubby looooooved this! The very first store I visited was without any sweet and sour dressing and so i visited another which had it (Cost Chopper) I made use of Wishbone french dressing and Old Nederlander Sweet and Sour dressing. I didn't add some bambo shoots because I didn't have. I'll certainly make this again and again. I attempted tuna inside it this time around but intend on using the chicken also. Thanks Caryn for discussing this recipe. UPDATE: I required a few of the tuna salad and folded it inside a spring roll skin. Yummy! Like a dipping sauce I mixed some soy sauce and a few of the sweet and sour dressing. If you haven't used spring roll skins before don't confuse it with egg roll wraps. I got myself these from an Asian market. Some are manufactured from grain flour however these were created from Tapioca flour. They appear like round, thin sheets of plastic. You place one out of a bowl of warm water for thirty seconds-one minute (water shouldn't be so hot that you simply can't handle the wrap by hands). Take away the wrap in the water and put flat on the plate and fill with tuna/chicken salad mixture. You don't need to fry or bake-just wrap and revel in! They may be offered cold or warm by doing this.
