Lately came back from the wonderful trip to Japan. At breakfast I'd find okra sliced around the bias with an inclusion of sesame seeds. It had been offered cold and i believe it has to happen to be steamed. I simply recall the fresh okra flavor but am guessing the bonito flakes must will be in there somewhere.
