First it had been jalapenos on everything, then sriracha and more brands went gaga for ghost peppers, so it's no wonder that Wendy's is kicking it's heat game into high gear by having an announcement that the hot sauce known as Diablo is imminent.

Inside a video on Twitter (see below), the chain stated its hottest sauce ever is going to be released on Cinco de Mayo, and are only readily available for a restricted time. Diablo is going to be created using a number of peppers, including aji panca, chipotle and chili, Wendy's spokeswoman Ashley Sioson told AdWeek .

"We are all acquainted with Verde, Mild, Hot and Fire, but when there's one factor we keep talking with our fans, it's they want more heat," Sioson stated. "Diablo will provide exactly that[it] packs a punch having a 'we don't provide a shishito' attitude."

Foodbeast really got your hands on some Diablo and reports that when compared with Taco Bell's traditional Fire sauce "the flavour is really great and it is noticeably spicier than Fire. However, it might certainly be spicier."
