Chicken and spinach lasagna recipe red sauce

This chicken lasagna recipe is made from white-colored sauce along with a tomato based sauce, together with Parmesan and Mozzarella cheeses.

Love this particular lasagna with crusty bread along with a thrown salad.

Ingredients
  • 1 large can (28 ounces) plum tomato plants
  • 2 cloves garlic clove, minced
  • 1 bay leaf
  • pinch ground thyme
  • dash red pepper cayenne
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin essential olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon sugar
  • salt
  • 8 ounces lasagna noodles
  • 3 tablespoons all-purpose flour
  • 1 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup milk or half-and-half
  • pepper
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley
  • 2 1/2 cups cooked chicken, in large chunks
  • 8 ounces shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/2 cup grated Mozzarella dairy product

Preparation

In saucepan, combine tomato plants, garlic clove, bay leaf, thyme, red pepper cayenne, essential olive oil, sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon salt. Provide a boil reduce heat, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes.
