This kind of easy sauce designed a nice vary from just serving plain with British mustard! I made use of a red onion as didn't have shallot, fresh tulsi rather of tarragon wholegrain mustard. I heated the sauce through because the steak was cooking after 'resting' the steak (because it states in Gordon's mix match steak) I use it the serving plate put the sauce over. Offered with potato crush although will attempt Gordon's chunky oven chips the next time!

Shazza - it might still work very well should you just left the tarragon out. Or, if you wish to give a different plant, tulsi and oregano both match tomato based sauces.

Hello, I want some assistance please. this recipe sounds great, however i cannot tolerate the smell or taste of tarragon. Would anybody prefer to suggest an alternate plant?

Attempted this recipe yesterday. Like others I honestly did not think it might work nicely. guess for this reason I am not really a chef. Excellent !

So what can I only say, it is really an amazing sauce. I had been doubtful initially because it sampled quite strong but when it had been offered using the fillet steak it sampled great.
