Adam (Minnesota) states:

I bending it too. Didn't bother buying brandy due to this, possibly the next time. I opted for snow peapods and added sliced water chestnuts. To be sure with another review it had become just a little bland, however a little editing the next time and it'll increase to five stars. One problem I'd was my peapods weren't cooking as quickly as I needed and remained as crunchy when essentially anything else ended. I might prepare in the peapods and water chestnuts a little the night time before for faster prep after i put everything together your day from the meal. Oh and something reason mine would be a little bland I am certain is the fact that I didn't double the amount garlic clove or ginger root as this was my very first time dealing with fresh and that i was worried since the wife is really a spice wimp.

Katie G. (Maryland) states:

Awesome recipe. I modified a little according to things i had on hands as well as bending the recipe..I made use of sesame oil rather of peanut,eco-friendly onion insted of reg,and used x-tra broccoli rather of broc and mushrooms. I additionally gave the shrimp an easy dusting of corn starch before contributing to the sauce, and added a couple of shakes of red pepper flakes..also overlooked the brandy. it was FAST and Scrumptious. Like chinese remove but way much better. will def increase my recipe collection. A KEEPER.

Susie (California) states:

It was ok, but fairly bland. Adding some hot sesame oil perked it up.
