Boil the grain in three glasses of water with star anise until just cooked. Drain well, transfer grain to clay pot and warm. Soak the oyster mushrooms in sufficient warm water for 15 minutes, drain, roughly chop.
Step Two
Mix the cornflour in two a mug of water. Reserve some chopped spring onion vegetables for garnish. Preheat oven to 180°C. Heat the oil inside a wok, add some ginger root and garlic clove and stir-fry for just one minute.
Step Three
Add some spring onions and then stir fry for any minute. Add some soy sauce, oyster mushrooms, MSG, white-colored pepper powder, salt and vegetable stock.
Step Four
Provide a boil, add mushrooms and also the cornflour mixture. Prepare for any minute or before the sauce thickens, stirring continuously.
Step Five
Pour the sauce within the grain, cover having a lid and within the preheated oven for twelve to 15 minutes.
Step Six
Open the pot in the dining room table, stir well, garnish using the reserved spring onion vegetables and serve hot.
