Creamy shrimp linguine recipe using sour cream

This really is my form of Shrimp Fettuccine Alfredo, with no heavy cream or flour.

Ingredients

8 ounces uncooked linguine or fettuccine 2 tablespoons butter 1 tablespoon essential olive oil 1 pound raw medium shrimp, peeled and deveined two to four garlic clove cloves, minced 3/4 cup reduced-fat sour cream 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/4 teaspoon pepper 1/2 cup (2 ounces) grated Parmesan or Romano cheese 1 tablespoon sliced eco-friendly onions

Instructions

  1. Prepare pasta based on package directions. Drain.
  2. Heat butter and essential olive oil inside a large skillet over medium heat. When butter is melted, add shrimp and prepare until opaque within the center, about 4 minutes, stirring frequently.
  3. Add garlic clove and prepare for thirty seconds. Stir in sour cream, pepper and salt until well blended. Remove pan in the heat and add cheese mix lightly.
  4. Serve over pasta with a lot more cheese. Sprinkle eco-friendly onions on the top.
