I designed a fun new recipe yesterday — creamy tomato tulsi soup, created using Greek yogurt!
I’ve really never made tomato tulsi soup before myself however i Like it. So ideal for eating with grilled cheese Which is what I'd for supper yesterday combined with the soup!

I made some tweaks according to things i had on hands, etc. and made the decision to try it out yesterday mid-day!
This recipe is particularly fun because it’s made using Greek yogurt rather of cream! Ya’ll understand how much I really like my Greek yogurt. The right replacement for mayo, sour cream, oil in baked goods&... take your pick!
Creamy Tomato Tulsi Soup
(makes about 3 servings)
- 1 clove garlic clove, minced
- 1 Tablespoons of. essential olive oil
- 1 large (or 2 small) fresh tomato plants, chopped
- 2 C low sodium veggie broth
- 1 teaspoon. tomato paste (optional — I didn’t have but it might be a great addition)
- 1 teaspoon. fresh tulsi, chopped
- 1/4 teaspoon. pepper
- 1/2 C plain nonfat Greek yogurt
- Extra fresh tulsi to garnish (optional)
Inside a medium-sized pot over medium heat, add essential olive oil, garlic clove, and tomato plants and saut a couple of minutes. Add veggie broth, tomato paste if using, tulsi, and pepper. Cover, reduce heat to medium low, and let simmer about fifteen minutes, then remove from heat and let awesome ten to fifteen minutes.
