Great recipe! Following the prep, I stuck it within the slow cooker to simmer for any couple of hrs. The smell was wonderful. It was fabulous! I needed to improvise a little as I didn't have canned broth in the home. I made use of Bovril beef bouillon concentrate and I didn't have wine available.
