Indonesian Oxtail Soup Recipe

  • 1 kg cut oxtail, trim body fat bit
  • Water (roughly 1.5 to two litre)
  • 2 cup chopped carrot (approximately. 4 carrot)
  • 2 cup diced potato
  • 1 medium celery stalk, slice
  • 2 big tomato plants, reduce pieces
  • 2 spring onion, reduce 1 cm length
  • 5 clove
  • 1 lime halve, for serving

  • Chilli sambal, for serving
  • Grain enough for 4 people, for serving
  • Emping crackers, optional (you'll find it at Asian groceries store)
  • Fried shallot (optional)
  • 2 big French onion/10 asian shallots
  • 4 garlic clove clove
  • 1.5 teaspoon ground pepper
  • ½ teaspoon ground nutmeg

  1. Boil enough water inside a pot, add oxtail. Prepare inside a medium heat before the meat half prepare. Increase the water if must (make certain the meat covered in liquid continually).
