Well, this yams salad recipe was initially slated for earlier within the week&...until our home was struck lower through the plague . But maybe the next day Halloween, after most of us have eaten greater than our share of small-Peanut bars, is really better timing for any healthy deeeelicious salad.
This yams salad was inspired a corn/bean/grain salad that my mother makes. The grain soaks in the astonishing white-colored wine/chili powder vinaigrette passing on the best scrumptious texture, and mild, tangy flavor.
My very own version began with roasted yams and wild grain . I Then needed some crunch, and so i added some celery. And That I needed more veggies and so i added some peppers, carrots, and red onion. Finally the dressing: a white-colored wine vinaigrette with a lot of tasty additives: chili powder for your southwestern sorta flavor, honey for a little sweetness , lime juice for many acidity, and a few garlic clove.
Altogether, this yams salad has soft grain, crunchy veggies, sweet&...yams, balanced with a savory dressing.
This salad is really a keeper. It may work with dinner , also it keeps well within the fridge for any couple of days, which makes it ideal for lunches.
Which is full of healthy yams, wild grain, and all sorts of individuals other veggies.
